WindMast V1500 ultra-compact mobile platform wind lidar is based on optical coherent Doppler frequency shift detection principles. It is designed to meet the requirements for high-precision, refined detection of three-dimensional atmospheric wind fields within the atmospheric boundary layer up to a height of 3000m.
The lidar system is designed with an IP67 protection rating, incorporating anti-corrosion and salt-resistant technologies. When mounted on wave gliders, it enables ultra-low-power autonomous navigation, heading stabilization, and real-time communication observations in marine environments.
Applications include offshore wind resource assessment, meteorological and climate research, weather forecasting model assimilation, atmospheric flux and pollutant transport studies, and low-altitude wind shear detection.
