Recently, the Greater Khingan Mountains region has carried out the "May Attack" campaign to prevent and extinguish forest fires. It has deeply studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on disaster prevention, reduction and relief, and done a good job in preventing and extinguishing forest and grassland fires, and strengthened the prevention and control of extreme weather fires such as strong winds, high temperatures, and dry thunderstorms. For prevention, we will make every effort to monitor key areas, supervise field work sites, and manage agricultural and forestry intersections. During this period, Qingdao Leice Transient Technology Co.,Ltd.  teamed up with an expert team from the Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences to carry out lidar wind field observation and support experiments at the Huzhong Forest Farm to help carry out research on forest small-scale weather forecast support and fire prevention and early warning methods.

Wind field monitoring plays a key role in forest fire prevention. Wind lidar can achieve early warning through smoke plume measurement in the early stages of fires, and provide accurate inverted wind field information during fire rescue, which is important for forest fire prevention, early warning and fire suppression. Rescue work is of great significance. The three-dimensional scanning wind lidar and the vertical profile wind lidar provided by Laser Testing Core are installed respectively near the Daxigou Pipe Guard Station and the 08 Tower of Huzhong Hongwei Forest Farm to conduct three-dimensional wind field information in the forest farm area. It provides precise observation and provides effective equipment and data support for improving the fire prevention and control capabilities of forest farms in Huzhong Forestry Bureau.

During the experiment, Fan Hua, director of the Forest and Grassland Fire Prevention Department of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, visited Tower 08 of Hongwei Forest Farm for an inspection. He affirmed the advantages of lidar in high spatial and temporal resolution and high precision in the field of wind field observation, and emphasized the need to strengthen relevant technical means in the field of wind field observation. Application in forest fire prevention and early warning and emergency rescue meteorological support.

The smooth conduct of this experiment demonstrated the technical advantages of wind measurement lidar in the field of forest fire prevention and extinguishing.
