Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the processing, analysis, stitching, and networking of meteorological lidar observation big data.
- Research and development of meteorological data processing, extrapolation forecasting, and data assimilation algorithms.
- Research and development of short-term nowcasting product algorithms.
- Development of meteorological data processing and display software algorithms.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in Atmospheric Science, Atmospheric Detection, Atmospheric Physics, Applied Meteorology, or related fields; relevant work experience is preferred.
- Familiar with WRF or MM5 numerical model debugging, operation, parameter optimization, and product correction and usage.
- Familiar with weather lidar, satellite data processing, and extrapolation forecasting algorithms.
- Familiar with meteorological multi-source data fusion algorithms, such as LAPS system algorithms.
- Proficient in FORTRAN, NCL, C++; familiar with Linux and Shell scripting.
- Strong mathematical and logical abilities.
- Good teamwork and a strong work ethic.
