Prof. Wu Songhua is leading LEICE team to analyze and discuss the key technology of floating wind lidar. A few days ago, Chinese self-developed large-scale rescue amphibious aircraft "Kunlong" AG600 made its first flight at sea in Qingdao, which was guaranteed by the use of the Doppler wind lidar developed by Wu Songhua’s team.

Wu Songhua says: “By placing lidar on floating platforms or motor boats at sea, we can make up for the lack of stereo observation data in traditional marine surveys, so that we can obtain stereo observation data over the entire ocean.”
