On December 29th 2019, Qingdao Leice Transient Technology Co., Ltd., together with Ocean University of China, Qingdao National Laboratory of Marine Science and Technology Pilot, Institute of Marine Instrumentation, Shandong Academy of Sciences, National Marine Environment Prediction Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources and other departments, developed and deployed the first domestic floating wind lidar (WindMast 350-MB) at sea area of Dongtou, Zhejiang Province. 

The system is based on wind lidar WindMast 350-M and 10m large buoy platform which are advanced in the world and have independent intellectual property rights. With the independently developed attitude correction algorithm of moving platform, the system can achieve the same wind measurement accuracy as Class 1 anemometer tower. WindMast 350-MB will greatly improve the exploration and development capacity of China's marine wind energy resources.
