From May 2019, Leice and Ocean University of China cooperated with the meteorological department to quickly complete the installation and layout of wind lidar in Zhengyangmen tower, realizing the real-time observation of wind speed, wind direction, turbulence intensity, vertical airflow, boundary layer height and back-scattering intensity profile from the ground to the altitude of 1 km. It makes up for the vacancy of vertical sounding data in the core area of the celebration, and combines the six ground wind field observation stations around Tian An Men Square to add double insurance for wind observation.
