The 29th International LiDAR Conference (ILRC29), the most influential and highest-specification event in the field of atmospheric sounding LiDAR, was opened in Hefei from June 24 to 28, 2019, which was hosted by ANKUANG Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), with Ocean University of China (OUC), Wuhan University (WU), Xian University of Science and Technology, SIOP, CAS, and Lanzhou University as co-organizers.
